Last night I escorted my dear sister Janet To the Dell , at Southampton Football club in celebration of Southhampton Winning the FA cup May 1st 1976. Her first husband the legend of the game was Booby Stokes who scored the winning goal against Man Utd…. So the ardent fans Celebrated in style at the club for a dinner and to raise money for charity, Janet was thrilled to be invited to such an occasion .. It is a whole new world to me ….it was wonderful to see the passion the fans had for the team of 76 ,Janet was so happy meeting the players from back in the day , it brought back for her happy happy memories… and so honoured to have been there for Bobby who sadly passed away in 1995.

We Sat at the table with Mike Channon who was very touched by the love and support in the room for the team of 76 !
His warm personality shown throughout the evening … with his fab son Mike ( junior) highly amusing and still calling Janet Aunty ‘ and his sister the lovely Nicky
It was a special evening for All .. which made my heart full
Of pride for my dear sister who has gone through so much in recent months …
